We brought back our favorite striped stockings
along with a brand new line.

Our unique cuff design is just as pretty on the back
as it is on the front.

This year we also have 7 different solid prints
to choose from.

*Please note that the 2 lines
do not mix and match.
The stripe line is with cherry red ric rac
and the solids are with true red.

Pixie Noel Fabric {Blog Hop}

We were over the moon when Tasha Noel of A Little Sweetness,
invited us to be a part of her Pixie Noel fabric blog hop.
We've been big fans of her art work and fabric designs for years.

When we first saw Pixie Noel, we immediately knew we needed
to make a special "Bake Day" set. One of our favorite parts of
celebrating the holidays is baking and decorating
sugar cookies with each of our families.

Our Bake Day set includes an apron, an embroidered tea towel
and a patchwork hot pad. You can find each piece in {our shop}.

Our apron measures 20" across the top, 33 across the bottom
and is 19" high. The sash is gathered neatly at the waist
and measures 32" long, leaving lots of room
to tie a festive bow in back.

We fashioned this after a favorite vintage apron from
Angel's collection.

The dainty mint floral pin is removable with a pin-back.
Isn't that stocking-capped little bird just the cutest?
You will fall in love with all the sweet little characters
and whimsy Tasha has poured into Pixie Noel

Of course we had to add a touch of our signature hand embroidery.
Would it be a TaDa! Creations without it?  ;)

We couldn't resist stitching up these little ladies onto a
scrappy bordered tea towel. We used an absorbent cotton and it
washed up quite nicely with minimal ironing needed.

Doesn't this just make you want to put on your Christmas records
and bake something yummy?

We also enjoyed making our first ever
patchwork hot pad to match.
We love learning a new skill, don't you?
This {tutorial} came in quite handy.

We used a layer of insul-fleece and a layer of cotton batting
for both the top and bottom of the pot holder.
You want the metallic portion of the fleece to be in the middle
of your batting "sandwich".

Different from quilting, we actually cut our bias tape
on the bias so it would take the curves
around the corners nicely.
